Protonmail è una buona alternativa a google gmail da use per inviare e-mail con WordPress Per farlo è necessario avere una qualsiasi version pagata, in questo esempio viene utilizzato Protonmail Plus.

Connetti il tuo dominio a Proton
To connect your domain to Proton to set up custom email addresses you click on the settings icon, All Settings, “Domain names”, Add Domain and follow the instructions.
Usa Protonmail per creare un e-mail con il tuo dominio
Per creare un e-mail con il tuo dominio usando Proton clicca sull'icona delle impostazioni, poi tutte le impostazioni e infine su identità e indirizzi. Nella sezione I miei indirizzi clicca su Indirizzo Proton.
Proton SMTP Submission – Genera un token
Per generare un token fare clic sull'icona delle impostazioni, Tutte le impostazioni e IMAP/SMTP. Nella sezione Invio SMTP si fa clic su Genera token.
Once you generated a token you can use it as a password in the WP Mail SMTP plugins configuration.
WP Mail SMTP Configuration for Protonmail
Download and Activate the WP Mail SMTP WordPress Plugin: WP Mail SMTP
Once activated you can start the WP Mail SMTP Setup Wizard.
Click on Let’s Get Started and follow the instructions. You choose other SMTP and click on Save and Continue.
Now, you use smtp.protonmail.ch as the SMTP Server, choose TLS as Encryption method and use the email you created as user and the token you generated as password.
